Punk Dress Code

  Punk is not just a dress code, the dress expresses an 'attitude'.This comic character, Gary, was "madeover" by computer . He has been fitted out with most of the regulation punk kit: spiked hair, black jacket, tartan trousers, zips, studs, chains, boots, and a lock and dog collar (optional).

Its okay for the tourist photographers on a Sunday afternoon in Camden High Street. I am not sure about the hair. Doorways are a bit of a problem with the spiky hair so it is not very practical. Jacket is smart but the sleeves are too stiff. Find walking awkward with the boots. Like the lock, but wish I had been given a safety pin as well like Scotty.Some punks say it is not proper punk because its too clean punk, just tourist punk But tourism is important for the economy. Especially mine."
